It's tough for Australia to break new ground.
The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.
This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years without defeat in 50-over cricket.
The secondary achievements, targeted by the record chasers, are all that remain for a squad that has achieved everything.
It needed until Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.
It's challenging for their batters to possess a record if not provided the possibility.
In the end, the outcome of Australia allowing 330 runs was leader Alyssa Healy getting a platform to produce her newest gem.
Then best known as the 19-year-old niece of renowned former Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she made her debut in 2010 after Australia failed to win either of the 20 or 50-over World Cups conducted earlier and has seen it all through 15 trophy-laden years since.
Success in the T20 World Cup happened three months after her bow and seven world titles have followed from 10 attempts across formats.
The gritty keeper was present as well in Derby in 2017 when a semi-final defeat by India briefly halted the winning streak.
That loss "drove us to reconsider our benchmarks," Healy said this week.
At the next 50-over World Cup in New Zealand, Healy made 170 against England in the final and was declared player of the series. She made sure her country would not fail again.
If this latest epic knock exceeded that prior achievement remains open for discussion.
Many contend the case for championship match pressure. Others can counter with the difficulty that comes when confronting a historic chase and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.
What's clear is this century was much more difficult to anticipate.
The Christchurch carnage in 2022 happened while she led the batting statistics, but this innings followed six innings in India since the start of last month in which she had not exceeded 30 runs.
"For those following me in practice sessions, it has been a frustrating experience because it seemed my form was missing at all," said Healy.
"Yet the moment you step out on the field, your fighting spirit kick in and you simply focus on the match."
Healy's competitive nature has always been her great strength - and a priceless quality in replacing iconic ex-skipper Meg Lanning.
She was tormented by India's emerging talent Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, fallen to the 22-year-old seamer in all three matches, but here that only provided Healy's motivation.
One run resulted off the opening delivery and after that the batsman was on her way.
"The possibility to play and lock in a contest with her and just have a bit of fun in that regard, sort of got me going," commented Healy.
She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 balls as she flogged anything short, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.
Once she was out the team required another 66 at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.
"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I am glad we have the assurance to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.
"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if necessary, we are confident we can achieve it."
These statements will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this World Cup want to hear.
During the last week a sense they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this success succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one stage.
Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.
It was at that stage they left the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a match Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the inaugural occasion at a major tournament.
So strong is her resolve, she afterwards commented she regretted not playing through the pain.
But while she subsequently acknowledged those injuries have pushed back plans to retire, this World Cup is expected to be her concluding event as leader in ODI cricket and she is yet to win an international tournament as leader.
Victory in India would bring her to the top of her last major obstacle.
